What Information Do We Collect?

Curio uses artificial intelligence to discovery, schedule, share and analyze the best content for your audience right when they want it (collectively, “Services”). To deliver our services, Curio accesses publicly available information from social networking sites and services as well as non-public data that you authorize us to access and collect. For example, we analyze data from your activities (including messages, data or other content that you upload or post) on social networking sites and services, and the data from people you follow or friend (or otherwise connect with) as well as people who follow or friend you (or otherwise connect with).

You can browse some areas of our site without telling us who you are. In order to create an account and to access certain restricted sections of our service, you will be required to register and provide personal information. If you choose to give us personal information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information on our servers located in the United States. We may collect and store the following personal information: email address and physical contact information, professional information (company name, position/title) transactional information based on your activities on usecurio.com or via our mobile apps, data related to the content you create on our site, in-app behavior for our mobile apps, support requests, chats, and correspondence sent to us; and standard web log information, such as connection information, your location, statistics on page views, traffic to and from our site, statistics on email open and click rates, and IP address.

We may receive location information from the social media services that you connect to Curio and when you authorize it, from your mobile device (“Geolocation Data”). We use Geo-Location Data to complete your profile, customize our service to make them more relevant to you and to your audience, and to provide you with location-specific content.

Payment for Curio is processed by Stripe. Curio does not collect or store credit card information.

How Secure Is The Information We Collect?

Your information is stored at world-class SSAE 16 and ISO 27001 certified, and Tier III Standards compliant data centers located in the United States. Curio is committed to industry best practices concerning security to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of the information in our possession. However, as you know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the site. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private. Our entire site uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session, which encrypts all transaction data for transmittal in a format that prevents theft of the information. While on a secure page, the lock at the bottom or top of a web browser becomes locked and this lets you know that you are in a secured session. Our servers are located in a secure, supervised environment. Our databases are accessible only by persons who have entered into and are bound by a confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement with us.
